Funded by the Labour and Welfare Bureau, this pilot project introduces the “Barrier-free Inclusion Guide,” a comprehensive platform dedicated to promoting inclusive education. Through engaging multimedia, including articles, videos, photography, and interactive games, the project highlights both the talents and the everyday needs of individuals with disabilities.
The initial phase focuses on delivering educational content regarding physical, visual, and hearing impairments. Additionally, the platform equips teachers, social workers, and other facilitators with practical lesson plans and experiential learning materials. These resources empower them to guide students in understanding and empathizing with the lived experiences of people with disabilities.
Looking ahead, the platform will progressively expand to cover other types of disabilities. This ongoing development aims to further champion the full integration of individuals with disabilities into the community.
